Copenhagen Strand

Copenhagen
Copenhagen Strand is a 4-starred hotel is in the first row by the blue waves in Copenhagen Harbour – naturally, close to attractions and must-sees, but still in a peaceful atmosphere. Therefore, we consider Copenhagen Strand as a seaside hotel in the city centre – and we look forward to give you a warm welcome! You can find us in a well-preserved warehouse from 1869 that, just like the rediscovered Danish seaside hotels, creates exclusive frames around a recreational and nostalgic stay. Behind our walls, you find an atmosphere that might make you think of holiday cottages, beaches and sea breezes. Because you will be met with light wood furniture, dark blue surfaces and colours, straight reeds and a mixture of the Nordic light and warm glows from the ceiling lights that hang like luminous amber lumps. The maritime style continues in our 174 rooms – and therefore completes your laid-back luxury stay in the centre of Copenhagen. As a guest at Copenhagen Strand, you can start the day in our breakfast restaurant. In here, you find a buffet with, among others, eggs, different cheeses and cold meats, oats and muesli, fresh greens and fruits, newly baked breads… and sweet pastries for the last mouthful. Our breakfast restaurant is placed on the basement floor and surrounds you with raw warehouse bricks, which both stand solidly and express the ravages of time. When you stay at Copenhagen Strand, you are in a walking distance from the many sightseeing experiences and attractions that Copenhagen has to offer. These include Amalienborg, which is the residence of the Danish royal family, the iconic Nyhavn, the shopping Mecca on Strøget and The King's New Square where trendy restaurants and cocktail bars are lined up. Yes, you can benefit from the central and harbour close location of Copenhagen Strand in many ways. Seeing that, you can also enjoy the view of the blue water surface in Copenhagen Harbour, naturally from several rooms and suites, but also from the promenade.
