Come and live this experience climbing the highest peak in southern Chile! Enjoying its landscape, tour, and then make a camp in the middle of this wonderful Volcano such as the Lanin Volcano. This ascent is for small groups, led by professional and certified mountain guides.
We begin our route at 227 meters above sea level in the city of Pucón- Chile towards Porqueco, where we will begin our walk at 1280 meters above sea level to later reach 3,747 meters above sea level at the summit of the Lanín Volcano, which in the Mapuche language means “covered”. Due to its geographical location, this is a summit shared with Argentina. Its great elevation will allow us to delight ourselves with a beautiful landscape and a wonderful summit. The Lanín Volcano is recognized as a Sacred Site for the Mapuche people, which they call “the heart of the world”. Its great size and height make it the most imposing volcano in the area. This adventure consists of 2 days, where the first day we will start walking at the foot of the Lanin, to set up camp near 2,800 meters above sea level. The second day we will leave very early for the summit of the highest volcano in southern Chile. At the top we can enjoy the best view of the valleys and volcanoes of Araucanía, we can enjoy all this standing on the ice cap where the summit of the Lanin volcano is located. The descent will be by the same path, we will go on to disarm the camp and we will start towards the city of Pucón.
