— What You Can Expect —
[Palgongsan]
As the center of Buddhist culture, visit its many temples, including Donghwasa Temple and Gatbawi Rock, which is famous as a place to pray. In spring, azaleas and Yeongsanhong bloom, and in summer there are thick forests and clear water. Palgongsan is one of the famous mountains that visitors visit all-year round
[Cable Car Ride]
Hop on the majestic and mysterious Palgongsan cable car! Enjoy a stunning natural mountain views that extends 820 m below sea level. At the top of the 820m above sea level, you can enjoy the wonderful panoramic view of Daegu. Afterward, enjoy some Flying Buckwheat, Seafood Pancake, Dongdongju
[Wishing Rock]
Since Palgongsan itself is known as a national prayer spot, there is a small wishing rock near the observatory of the cable car along with Gatbawi. Even though this place is a vertical rock, if you put a coin on the surface of the rock, the coin will stick to it and not fall off. Stick a few coins on and wish for some good energy
[Otgol Village]
Visit this wonderful spot, selected as one of the 10 most beautiful stone wall roads in Korea. Otgol Village became the hometown of Gyeongju Choi Clan when Choi Dong-jip, a scholar of the mid-Joseon Dynasty, settled there in 1616. 'Otgol' is another name for Dunsan-dong because there are many lacquer trees in the mountains and fields on all three sides except for the southern part of the village. The Golmaeul Stonewall Road is the only place in Daegu that has been designated as one of Korea's 'Top 10 Beautiful Stonewall Roads'. You can also tour Baekbul Old House, built in 1630, which is the oldest among Joseon Dynasty houses in Daegu
