Misugi is very beautiful, quiet and peaceful Inaka place. Misugi has unique history, culuture and lifestyle.
Inaka means the country-side in Japanese.
However, Misugi is now facing at extreme depopulation problem. The population decreased by half in this 2 decades.
We want to empower our village by tourism. Because tourism can connect many people and industries. Then, we made an organization "Inaka Tourism".

"Design the forest in 100 years"
After WW2, there are planted cedar and cypress trees all over Japan. Nowadays, too many trees remain without cut.With a forester, you will know how important thinning trees is. Actually, you choose which tree is the best to cut down and cut the tree down with a forester. Your decision will change the future of forest!

Pickup and Dropoff
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 20 minutes before departure time.
Additional Information
- by train This JR Meisho Line is completely inconvenient train which runs only once per two hours. However, the scenery from the train is unbelievably beautiful. It is just one rail, one train and one conductor. It is the cutest train in the world we believe. There is a train which will arrive 8:44am at Ise-Yachi station bound for Ise-Okitsu. If you use JR Meisho line and miss the train, it is automatically cancelled. Because next train will come two hours later. On the way back, you will take 15:22 train bound for Matsusaka. - by car It takes two hours drive from Nagoya or Osaka. Please set Ise-Yachi station (伊勢八知駅) as a destination on you GPS. - for guests of Inaka Tourism accommodations or Misugi Resort Our staff will bring you to the meeting point by car.

- We will meet up in front of the station. It is a really small station and there is only one exit.
