The Binnenhof is a complex of buildings in the city centre of The Hague, Netherlands, next to the Hofvijver. It houses the meeting place of both houses of the States General of the Netherlands, as well as the Ministry of General Affairs and the office of the Prime Minister of the Netherlands. The New Church was built in 1656 and is one of the oldest monuments in the city centre of The Hague. It represents the pinnacle of Protestant religious architecture in Holland. Het was een leuke speurwandeling, de eerste paar vragen vrij makkelijk. Toen kwam er een vraag dat we echt hebben moeten zoeken. Als je die oplossing eenmaal hebt, dan kun je de volgende vragen ook vrij makkelijk beantwoorden. Dus iets moeilijker zou soms wel mogen of misschien meer afwisseling i...

We enjoyed this little story-based self-guided tour. It was an interesting way to experience the history without being stuffy. It does only take you around the central part of the city, but it fit into our timetable nicely.

C’était une chouette sortie , de belles découvertes dans la ville mais un peu trop rapide .. de plus dommage que cela ne soit qu en anglais … On aurait peut être préféré un peu plus de longueur .. mais l’histoire et les énigmes en elles même c’était vraiment bien fait!
