The tour we provide is a journey into Ireland’s past by guides who have lived and breathed the most recent conflict and can deliver a narrative from both sides of a conflict where people lost their lives guides from both sides of the divide
Your guide will take you to the Shankill area an area steeped in Protestant British heritage and culture learn how the people suffered during the conflict see murals and wall art unique to the Shankill area here stories about our most recent past see murals of people from the local area seen as great hero’s
You will then travel to one of many peace walls that separates two communities that have been in existence for over 50 years listen to how and when and who built the wall unfortunately still necessary today
Our tour will finish on the falls road Belfast again we will delve into history we’re the people live and breathe an Irish tradition and culture in contrast to what you have seen on the Shankill you will see murals of republicans who have also died during the conflict two very similar areas two different communities but essentially the same working class areas with different cultures also lean about peace processes ceasefires and communities trying to reconcile differences
