Come and discover the magical universe of the lava tunnels of the 2004 flow of Piton de la Fournaise in the town of Sainte-Rose with our instructors specialized in volcanology
• 2h30 hiking-caving circuit underground easy level accessible from 5 years old in a recent lava tunnel filled with exceptional basaltic formations (lava waterfalls, vitrified walls, benches, lava stalactites, lava stalagmites etc...)
• Supervision in small groups of 8 people maximum for more safety and conviviality.
• Specific clean and quality equipment provided
• Photo report and aperitif offered at the end of each visit
• Visits possible in French and English
• It is necessary to be able to walk on all fours for about 15 meters so to have sufficient mobility to participate in this activity

Franck est très pédagogue, et c'était un plaisir de visiter une petite partie des tunnels de lave avec lui. Il nous a présenté les diverses variétés de végétation qui poussent sur les laves, il nous a expliqué de quoi était constitué le basalte, nous avons vu de nombreux périmorphoses de tronc d'...
