Meet Sofia and Joaquim in their cozy home in beautiful Evora and enjoy a quiet culinary experience in Sofia's beautiful garden. They will welcome you to their outdoor kitchen which is decorated with traditional Portuguese pottery and cooking utensils, and offer a step-by-step cooking class. Where you will learn to make traditional Portuguese dishes from an expert. Expect a fun, dynamic cooking class, with a lot of interesting cultural and historical facts about Portugal's cuisine. One of the highlights of the experience will be Sofia's cooking demonstration: preparing smoked sausages on a special “assadeira” clay dish. The result: an incredibly tasty surprise. You will also try local wine from nearby vineyards, giving you a true taste of local life and culinary traditions.
