Shanghai Jewish Refugees Museum
The museum, built in 1907, was once the religious ceremonial center for the exiled Jewish refugees during the World War II. On the walls of the entrance, you can see photos of the surviving refugees. Inside, some articles of daily use and religious articles full of Jewish culture, as well as historical records about the Nazis persecuting Jewish are on exhibit.

Located in the center of Shanghai in People's Square, Shanghai Museum is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. The main body of the building covers Shanghai's development from ancient times to the present and beyond. There is a city model made in a scale of 1/500, total 600 square meters, the largest in the world.

Dedicated to the history of Shanghai, the museum houses more than a thousand relics and chronicles 6000 years of history from the region. Divided into two sections – Ancient Shanghai and Modern Shanghai, the museum traces the political, social, economic and cultural evolution of the city from 4000BC to the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949.
People's Square (Renmin Guang Chang)
Shanghai People's Square is located at the very center of Shanghai and is the demarcation point of East Nanjing Road and West Nanjing Road. It is a flourishing place for people to look around. There are many scenic spots around people's square, such as the new Municipal Government Mansion, Shanghai Museum, Shanghai Grand Theater and the Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. Along the south side of the People's Avenue, there are several large underground structures, including Hong Kong Famous Brands Street and Dimei Shopping Center, the largest underground city transformer substation of Asia and the largest underground parking garage of Shanghai.
Shikumen Museum, Shanghai
The museum not only presents the typical Shanghai architectural style, but also revives the life space and style of the local residents. In fact, it was reconstructed from an old Shikumen house in the 1920s. The displays in the museums are all about the daily necessities of that time. The cooking range, some textbooks, lipstick and rouge are among them. In addition, the whole setting of the museum depicts the vivid life of a middle-class family.

Xintiandi is a tourist attraction that preserves the historical and cultural features of Shanghai and integrates Chinese and western culture. Composed of Shikumen and modern architectural style, now it has become a hot and fashionable pedestrian street in the center of the city. Actually, it stands for the popular and leisurely life style of this city's new generation. The outdoor cafés, bars and romantic restaurants can be seen everywhere. It was once the site of the first congress of the Communist Party, but is now lined with shopping and entertainment places.
China Art Museum
The museum was transformed from the China Pavilion of the Expo 2010 Shanghai, an upside-down red pyramid. It is dedicated to demonstrate the masterpieces of a number of China's modern and contemporary artists. The stunning highlight of the museum is the multimedia replica of the famous painting “Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival” one thousand years ago, which vividly shows the life of all social sectors at that time.
