I highly recommend checking this out, the tour guides tell you some of the history before you get there on the bus since it is a 3 hour drive there and back so it’s a full day trip. Our guide, Diego, was excellent with thorough knowledge of Maya history. Enjoyed every minute of the tour, it was on time, a very comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. The lunch taken at Bacalar was delicious, drinks included. This tour was worth every penny and more. Highly recommend it.
