— What You Can Expect —

Arima Onsen originates from a serpentine rock layer containing ancient seawater. This rare natural phenomenon occurs as the Philippine Sea Plate subducts, pushing mineral-rich waters 60 kilometers to the surface. Arima Onsen has the highest salt content of any hot spring in Japan. The rock layer dates back six million years, preserving the seawater's composition from early human evolution. This timeless hot spring offers a unique and rejuvenating experience.
