The establishment of Xinwu Shihu can be traced back to the Qing Dynasty. The ancestors of the Han nationality came to Taiwan to reclaim land, and piled up the cobblestones obtained from the coast by hand to form stone embankments hundreds of meters or even thousands of meters long. The principle of fishing in Shihu is to use the high tide to bring the fish into the embankment. When the tide ebbs, the fishermen can catch the trapped fish.

放鬆小行程
走步道認識生態，再到海邊摸蛤蠣跟放魚苗，讓小孩玩的不亦樂乎，可惜當天溫度有點低且又有風，不然在海邊會更好玩；玩完換靜態活動，畫漂浮球，但我們都沒什麼藝術天份，所以就越畫越好笑。

帶小孩子來，很棒的體驗，很喜歡！希望能舉辦許多活動，潮間帶，生態導覽，手作課程都可以參與，未來有住宿的也希望參加
