In the 12th century Madrid was just a village. Our adventure will start at its main square, where the old City Hall is: Plaza de la Villa.
La LatinaPass-by Only
The whole tour takes place in La Latina. Madrid oldest and most atmospheric neighborhood.

Bar 1: Iconic establisment founded in 1966. We will taste: VERMUT DE GRIFO (white wine flavored with botanicals such as: wormwood, vanilla, ginger, licorice, cinnamon, lemon balm. It has been the aperitif of Madrid for over a century. It comes on tap and it is served on the rocks) BATTERED COD (It is their specialty and I´ve been eating it for 25 years. Funny thing is that I don't like fish but....)
