During your walk around the crater, you will have a great view of El Salvador’s highest and most active volcano! The Santa Ana volcano, at almost 2,400m (7,850ft) in height, offers some beautiful panoramic views of neighboring towns and scenic landscapes from the top.

Parque Nacional Cerro Verde

Your tour starts at Cerro Verde national park located on top of an extinct volcano, admire the beautiful views of the countryside while you drive to the top. In the park, you will have a 45 min walk around the rim of the crater where you will be enchanted with the views of nearby volcanoes.

Coatepeque

Visit the beautiful Coatepeque lake located among the Cerro Verde and Santa Ana volcanoes.

This was a fantastic experience! There is a short 40 minute hike where you are able to see views of the Lago de Coatepeque.
