Meet your guide in the morning or afternoon in your hotel lobby, and start your tour at the UNESCO World Heritage Site: the Temple of Heaven. Enter the Temple from the South entrance, first visit the Circular Mound Altar, where sacrifices were offered to the gods. Then the Imperial Vault of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors worshiped heaven during the winter solstice, admire the richly decorated vault pavilion with its surrounding Echo Wall. Continue to the Danbi Bridge, the temple’s main pathway, and pass the Emperors’ Changing Room. Make your way to the magnificent Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, where the emperors came to pray for bountiful harvests, constructed without a single nail. Stroll around the temple’s leafy park, and see Beijing’s elderly engaging in music, dancing, exercises, cards, and etc. Then start your Taiji Class. Tai chi (taiji), short for T'ai chi ch'üan, or Taijiquan, is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. Your tour will be finished after enjoy this 45-minute Taiji class learning from a Taiji Master. Your tour guide will provides directions to your hotel from there.
