This small-group tours includes transfers from your hotel to the amazing Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. There you will glide over the world's oldest rainforest as you ascend to the maginficent Red Peak boardwalk and its attractions. From there journey to the spectacular Barron Gorge and falls as you make your way to the charming rainforest village of Kuranda. Once there choose from a vast array of activities including local markets, arts and crafts, enjoy an encounter with animals or butterflies (fees apply) and enjoy a relaxing lunch (own expense) before joining the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway on a spectacular journey through 15 tunnels and over 37 bridges enjoying magnificent views as you make your way to Freshwater Station to be met and transferred to your hotel, arriving about 4pm.

Board a gondola, glide over the rainforests to Kuranda with two amazing stops on the way at Red Peak rainforest boardwalk and the spectacular Barron Gorge.
Upon arriving in Kuranda, a short stroll takes you to the nearby village where you will have about 2.5 hours to explore, shop and eat on your own.
Board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway for a narrated journey. Travel through World Heritage Listed rainforest through 15 tunnels and over 37 bridges on your way to Freshwater Station. Includes a stop at the spectacular Barron Gorge to view the waterall.
You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points
Please arrive at the pick up point 30 minutes before departure time.
Air conditioned transfer available from selected hotels Cairns city and inner suburbs only. Please contact me if your hotel or AirBnb is not listed. I regret I can not offer transfers to customers staying on the northern beaches, Machan's Beach, Holloways Beach, Trinity Beach, Kewarra Beach, Clifton Beach, Palm Cove, Yorkey's Knob and Port Douglas. If you are staying on the northern beaches, please don't book with me. Other tour operators are able to pickup on the northern beaches. Port Douglas customers please go to destination Port Douglas for "Kuranda Day Trip from Port Douglas upgrade to Skyrail & Scenic train available" on Viator. My tour is suitable for cruise ship arrivals to the Cruise Liner Terminal arriving 9am and earlier. Yorkeys Knob is not the cruise liner terminal. Passengers with prams, wheelchairs etc must advise the tour operator as space is limited.
I don't need any paperwork from you on the day. I can only offer pickup at the hotels listed upon checkout. For special cases or if the hotel is not listed or is within 4 KM of the city centre please contact me.
