Constitution Hill Human Rights Precinct

Constitution hill is the living museum that tells the story of South Africa's struggle towards democracy. It is the side of the former prison jail and military fort that bears testimony to the country's turbulent past. You do the tour of the prison museum that provides fascinating insight into South Africa's history, the sight of the Notorious Old Fort Prison complex, commonly known as NUMBER FOUR, where thousands of ordinary criminals and Political Prisoners including the late President Nelson Mandela, Mahatma Gandhi, Joe Slovo, Albertina Sisuli, Winnie Mandela and Fatima Meer were brutally punished before the dawn of democracy. Have an opportunity to stand inside our highest court the Costitution Court and to learn about our Costitution.

The tour proceed,we drive through a multimillion Mandela bridge in Johsnnesburg on our way to Soweto. We enter soweto through Diepkloof Extension as you learn about history and demographics of Soweto. We pass Baragwanath hospital the biggest hospital in Southern Africa and the third biggest hospital in the world, occupying the space of 7 ha (170 acres ), a teaching hospital for Witwatersrand medical University and for all Provincial hospitals in Johannesburg.

Orlando Towers

Orlando towers are one of the distinctive landmarks in the neighborhoods of Soweto. The towers were cooling towers for the coal-run power station supplying electricity to Johannesburg over 50 years. The station was closed in 1998 and transformed into an entertainment and sporting center in 2008. The towers are always covered with bright colours since they are used by companies to advertise their products.
