Lesedi Cultural Village
Get ready to be entertained and also get to know more about South Africa History on these majestic tour from Johannesburg. We depart from your hotel rheaded to Soweto. As we drive through Johannesburg sleek highways we get to soak in a lot of the famous buildings build during apartheid era. We also get to see small hills of mine dumps from the places that they mined these gold. We enter Soweto and straight head to Hector Peterson Museum for a historic Visit to know why the students did not want to learn in Afrikaaners Language back in 1976. From there we head to Mandela House and see the former Icon house with some furniture still in place and from there we have an African Meal at a local restaurant. Our day is getting better and better. From here we drive through Soweto comparing the various houses and also see some 'shacks' Africa Ghettos. We continue and make our way to Lesedi Cultural Village for some Africa Culture where we will tour the different Africa Homesteads and soak in a lot of Africa Culture. Visit Nelson Mandela House where he lives before he was arrested in 1963 and 27 years in Jail however after his 27 years of imprisonment Nelson never returned to the house he had new house in Johannesburg Houghton. The corner of Vilakazi streets, a short distance away, is the Soweto home of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, who, like Mandela, was the recipient of a Nobel Peace Prize and they are sharing the street.
