— What You Can Expect —

Arima Onsen Taiko no Yu offers the Kinsen (gold) and Ginsen (silver) hot spring baths. The Kinsen bath gets its name from the reddish-brown color of the water. This is a result of the water's high salt content (higher than that of seawater) oxidizing when exposed to air. Meanwhile, the Ginsen bath is colorless due to its radon and carbon dioxide content and is known for its relaxing effects. 

Inclusions

  • Travelers with the following conditions or other health issues that could be worsened by excessive stimulation should not participate in this activity
  • According to Kobe City's policy, visitors who are elementary school (or above) students are required to pay the bath tax of JP¥75 on-site
  • Smoking is not allowed in the entire building
  • Only the bedrock baths are mixed (i.e. for both males and females). Please make sure to wear special clothes for this bath
  • Please note that those with tattoos or tattoo stickers will not be allowed in the baths
  • Please refrain from bringing your own food and drinks
