Maastricht Heritage and Nature Tour
Pleasant tours in languages NL/DE/ENG at 11.00 or 15.00 hrs. but time-flexible ( family, couples or group of max. 15 pers. ). The tour starts at the car parking St. Pieters fortress & mountain ( called the Eye ). First we see the fortress and a nice walk over the mountain brings us to excellent viewpoints : dreamy Jekerdal, the oehoe owl-valley and the spectacular viewing platform limestone quarry/canyon ( also finish Pietertrail ). With a interval at Hoeve Lichtenberg viewpoint and the Slavante terrace & vineyard we walk along the Maria cave and André Rieu castle back to the fortres and carparking. The walk is a mix of heritage and nature. You can customize the tour with a walk through the limestone quarry.

Look down from a nice viewpoint on the impressive limestone quarry, that is now becoming an attractive nature area, looking like canyon.
An nice point for a interval with coffee, vlaai or beer. A view on the river Maas and the first vineyard of the Netherlands
