Pena Palace Entrance Fee
The tour begins with a visit to the romantic Sintra Mountains! Considered a World Heritage site this mountain range is full of palaces, mansions, cottages, convents, churches, chapels and shrines set amidst lush and surrounding vegetation. It has been the inspiration for great authors of European literature, abundant in archaeological remains that show that it has been occupied over numerous millennia.
You can stroll through charming streets in the historic centre of Sintra. We then climb the beautiful mountain roads to the most extravagant Portuguese palace, a fascinating fairy tale castle built in the ‘’romantic’’ Portuguese style.
We resume the tour by passing through Sintra/Cascais Natural Park on the way to the western most point of continental Europe – Cabo da Roca, a place of infinite blue and a superb view of the Atlantic Ocean at its most wild.

Alternatively, visitors may visit the National Palace of Queluz. • On some days, the Pena Palace may close due to a strike. In this case, you will visit Quinta da Regaleira.
