Enjoy this unique, enriching and very complete visit to the world of sake! Indeed, the Nada region in Kobe is renowned and represents 30% of Japan's sake production. Thus, during this activity you will not only learn how sake is made, but you will also discover everything that revolves around sake gastronomy such as the artisanal manufacture of barrels to the evolution of containers for drinking it. This visit is accompanied by three tastings and thus testifies to the place that sake occupies in Japanese culture.
From our meeting point at the station, we will then walk to one of the famous Kobe sake breweries where the activity took place in three stages: - Visit the museum part explaining the traditional sake making process. - Discovery of the workshop of artisanal manufacture of sake barrels. - Exhibition hall and explanations on the evolution of sake glasses over the centuries. Each step will be followed by a free sake tasting related to the theme of each step we have taken.
