On this 4-day hike you overcome the highest point of the trek, which is the Salkantay Pass at 4,550 meters above sea level. You also enjoy amazing mountain scenery with snowy peaks, mountain lagoons and remote Andean villages.

- Tourist train from Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu) to Ollantaytambo

Was nice! I can recommend it. Only the meal before Machu Picchu was a bit to less. Guide was friendly

I did the tour with my friends this august. I really enjoyed the tour. We had a good time with the crew, consisting of the guide Nico, the cook and the assistant. Nico also was happy to organise some extra wishes for us, like for example asking the cook to prepare the famous cui (guinepig) for us...

Schöne vier Tage mit Hochgebirge am ersten Tag, dann Dschungel am zweiten Tag. Am dritten Tag lange Wanderung die optional mit den Zug verkürzt werden kann. Am vierten Machu Picchu auch gut. Wanderungen immer gut machbar, am Anfang der Tour ist die Höhe schwer, aber geht schnell rum.
