The giant statue of one of Thailand's most revered monks, Luang Phor Thuad, cuts an impressive figure as it sits proudly against the clear blue sky; a majestic figure towering over the complex and the lush green landscape. There is almost an otherworldly atmosphere here which fills your heart with peace and tranquility. Two colossal wooden elephants stand as sentinels beside the awe-inspiring statue, their massive frames resonating with cultural significance. Thai locals believe that walking under the belly of the wooden elephants brings good luck
