- What You Can Expect -

  • [Arakurayama Sengen Park]

Located midway up Arakurayama, this scenic spot features an observation deck that reopened in February 2022 after renovations. After climbing 398 steps, visitors are rewarded with a stunning panoramic view of Mt. Fuji and the five-story pagoda, Chureito Pagoda, making it a must-visit destination. The park is home to approximately 650 cherry trees, which bloom in spring, creating a breathtakingly traditional Japanese landscape with cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and Chureito Pagoda all in one frame.

  • [Honcho Street]

This shopping street, stretching towards Mt. Fuji, has been gaining popularity as a photogenic spot! Visitors can capture stunning shots of the majestic Mt. Fuji towering in the background, paired with a charming retro Showa-era townscape. In addition to photography, strolling through this nostalgic shopping street while admiring Mt. Fuji adds another layer of enjoyment to the experience.

  • [Oshino Hakkai]

Oshino Village is located at the southeastern foot of Mt. Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture. The breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji from Oshino Hakkai, along with the traditional Japanese scenery featuring ponds and windmills, is a must-see. Recognized as a Natural Monument, Oshino Hakkai consists of spring water ponds fed by the underground water from Mt. Fuji. Enjoy a peaceful and mystical moment as you take in the pure, sacred waters that embody the blessings of Mt. Fuji.

  • [Oishi Park]

The park along the shores of Lake Kawaguchi offers a popular spot for enjoying the breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi. A walking path runs along the lakeside, where visitors can take a leisurely stroll and appreciate the seasonal flowers. In spring, you can admire tulips and moss phlox; in early summer, lavender; and in autumn, cosmos and kokia. Enjoy the unique scenery of Oishi Park, accompanied by these seasonal blooms.
*Note: This stop is only available on weekdays. It is not included during crowded periods, weekends, public holidays, or Golden Week (April 29 - May 5).
*Please be aware that the flowering conditions may vary depending on the year's weather. There may be instances when the flowers are not in bloom.

  • [Saiko Iyashi no Sato Nenba (Healing Village)]

This village, once known as the most beautiful thatched-roof settlement in Japan, was lost due to a typhoon disaster but has been restored to its former glory. Featuring around 20 thatched-roof houses, the village offers hands-on experiences in traditional crafts, nature, and culture, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in nostalgic old Japan. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through the village while admiring the view of Mt. Fuji. Inside the facility, you can find local specialty restaurants serving regional cuisine and soba noodles, as well as tea houses offering sweets and traditional dumplings.
