Delftsche Poort was a city gate of Rotterdam, the latter of which was built in 1764 after a design by architect Pieter de Swart. It was already the third gate in that place: the previous two had been demolished due to a short-term construction.

Museumpark Rotterdam uit 1927
The Museum Park is located between the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, the Westersingel, the Westzeedijk and the Erasmus MC complex. It lies on the former estate of the Hoboken family, who lived there in the Villa Dijkzigt; the Natural History Museum Rotterdam has been housed in the villa since 1987.
Witte de Withstraat
De Witte de Withstraat is a nightlife street in Rotterdam with cafes, restaurants, art galleries, various shops and municipal monuments. The street connects the Schiedamse Vest with the Eendrachtsweg. The street was named in 1871 after the Rotterdam fleetmaster Witte Cornelisz. de With (1599 - 1658). In the seventies the street had a bad reputation in connection with the many shady cafes and illegal gambling houses. In the 1990s, an extensive metamorphosis was set in motion as part of the Art Axis that links the Museum Park and the Maritime Museum.
