About Scandic Backadal

This 4 star hotel is located 5km north of the city of Gothenburg along Highway E6 towards Oslo and was established in 1973. It is a short drive away from the Goteborg Centre and the nearest station is Goteborg. The Hotel has a restaurant, a bar, conference rooms, a lobby coffee shop, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness centre/gym. All 236 rooms are equipped with hairdryer and some with ironing set as well.

Great Hotel for a Business Trip
A very good Hotel for a Business trip. Very great support of front desk = easy to book a taxi. A very good dinner and an excellent breakfast. Very good service at the restaurant. A very quick check in. Easy invoicing. A very eco friendly hotel.

Family friendly hotel
We had a nice stay at this hotel with our two kids and enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a nice and clean play room for kids. There is a nice pool for family as well. Parking house is closeby and good. Breakfast choices could be improved with more types of cheese and a varity of warm food.

Nice for a family
very nice for families with swimming pool inside and nice employers, the location is not so far from the center of the city, they have a nice variety of food on the breakfast. the parking was free but now you have to pay for it
