What's included in the package

Itinerary

We start the day with the visit to Ballestas Islands and the three-pronged Candelabro geoglyph, which is etched into the stony hill similar to the Nazca lines. The Ballestas Islands are home of thousands of birds like Humboldt Pinguins, Cormorans, Zarcillos, Pelicans and other species like Sea lions and Dolphines. After a short break let`s get on the Minibuggy and explore the most dry area of Peru - National Park of Paracas. We visit the natural rock formation "La Catedral" Playa Roja (red beach), Cerro Colorado to have a beautiful look over the two bays, and observe Flamingos. Drive yourself and enjoy the amazing dessert of Paracas by Minibuggy (two person each).

Where to meet and pickup

Pickup and Dropoff

You can choose to be picked up from a list of locations, or alternatively, have the choice to make your own way to the meeting points

Please arrive at the pick up point 15 minutes before departure time.

Additional Information

If you arrive in a Cruise, they normally docks at SAN MARTIN PORT, so we pick you up from the Cruise (but this requires an additional fee). Other option is using the shuttle bus to come down to Paracas. We will pick you up from the Shuttlebus Stop. If your Hotel is not listed please let us know. We do also pick up and return from Pisco.

The ballestas islands are considered the poor man’s Galapagos and are heavily touristed. The guide met us at our hotel and then we walked over and we joined in the throng of people lining up for the boat tour. The best time of year to see the animals is January-March. What a fabulous day! The boat ride to Islas Ballestas was so fun - bring a hat!. Then we went back to tour office and the drove us to the mini-buggy location. After donning a helmet, we were off - driving through town, out of town on the open road, and into the National Park. This is not "off-...
