Rinjani trekking route via Aik Berik was officially opened by Central Lombok governemnt on November 2018 as one of official trekking route that offers different angle to approach Rinjani, with 2 famous waterfalls in Central Lombok on the same route: Benang Kelambu and Benang Stokel waterfall. Trek through rainforest, pineforest, savannah, dense forest with plent of water source (river) and waterfall.
The route leads to second summit Puncak Kondo (Top of Kondo, 3200 m.a.s.l), crater rim and Segara Anak lake. Each destinantion takes from 2 day 1 night to 4 day 3 nights to complete depend on your destinantion, all destinantions offer stunning view of sunset and sunrise, peak of Mt. Rinjani, Segara Anak lake, Mt. Agung in Bali and view of Lombok and Sumbawa island.
Please note, this track offers no opportunities for a climb up to summit of Rinjani.

Itinerary
Day 1
Depart from our basecamp to catch the stunning sunset from camping site, 2600 m.a.s.I, it takes about 7-8 hours.
Food Menu
Breakfast Indonesian or western foods are provided for the breakfast. 2 times breakfast included during the trip.
Lunch Indonesian or western foods are provided for lunch. 3 times lunch served during the trip.
Dinner Indonesian or western foods are provided for dinner. 2 times dinner served during the trip.
Mount Rinjani National Park
Day 2
Hike up to Rinjani second summit, 3200 masl.
Food Menu
Breakfast Coffee or tea and biscuits before hike, and pancake or Indonesian breakfast after the hike at camping site.
Lunch Indonesian or western food is served for your lunch on the rest point.
Dinner Indonesian or western food is served for your dinner on the camping site.

Very helpful and kind guide and porters. The food was very good for being on a mountain. The guide was very flexible and took our wishes to account. Really cool experience. It's very cold on the tops so bring really warm and wind-protecting clothes. Also bring some snacks.
