At Assin Manso, you will be told the history and walk through the Ancestral path to see the slave river where tourists will have opportunity to pray to their Ancestors and ask them for forgiveness. From the slave river, we move to Cape Coast Castle for the main history about the slave trade during colonial rule and see the DOOR OF NO RETURN After the castle, we get to enjoy the hike to Kakum National Park as we go onto Canopy Walk in the park. Get ready for an exciting but physically demanding (15-20 minute) hike in a dense Rain Forest. We will climb a hill so wear sporty shoes, sneakers and face towel for the forest hike. NB: You can skip Kakum National Park/Canopy Walk for Elmina Castle. Or go to Elmina Castle instead of Cape Coast Castle but not both. Feel free to decide! Enjoy your trip!
