Queen's Staircase

A major landmark in Nassau, the Queen's Staircase has been named in honor of Queen Victoria. It has 66 steps that were made from solid limestone rock by slaves whose original aim is to provide direct access from Fort Fincastle to Nassau City.

Fort Fincastle

You can also explore this as well as other historic sites in Nassau. Fort Fincastle was built in 1793 to help protect the city from pirates. Located atop Bennet’s Hill, the highest point on New Providence Island, it provided the best views of Nassau and Paradise Island as well as the eastern approaches to the islands.

Clever did an awesome job of maximizing our tour sites and providing a true Nassau experience. Everyone in our group of 20 had a blast and the age range was 6 to 67! You will definitely enjoy this experience! The drivers were also friendly and helpful.
