Itinerary
Suicide Cliff
This 820-foot-tall (250 m) cliff is where much of the fighting took place during the Battle of Saipan in World War II, and a peace memorial pays tribute to the Japanese and American soldiers and citizens who died here.
Last Command Post Park
This fortress under a rock slab, north of marpi, below Suicide Cliff, is where the Japanese military command held out to the very end.

Even with the electric assist on the E-bikes there were some hills to climb going up Marpi Point but the views were worth it! Grotto snorkeling would be scary without a guide so we were thankful to have gone with Mariannas Trekking!
