Everest Base Camp trek is the most sought out trek and one of the popular trekking trails in the world. It's a dream of a lifetime for any trekkers who wish to be at the world's highest point. Attend Everest Base Camp (5,320m) and the great Khumbu Glacier from where Everest expeditions starts. Hike to Kalapathar (5,550m) the next day after base camp. Kalapathar is the popular viewpoint where Mt. Everest is visible at much closer proximity. It also offers 360 degrees Himalayan panorama of the Khumbu mountains. Explore Namche Bazaar, the gateway the Everest region. Day hike to the Hotel Everest View - the highest in the world, from Namche. Visit Tengboche Monastery - one of the most important monasteries in the Khumbu region. Everest Base Camp trekking is for anyone with basic fitness and no previous trek experience is required.
