National Museum of Ethiopia

Visit the National Museum, the home of the famous Lucy which is ranked one of the most important museum collections in Sub-Saharan Africa. You will tour of the museum including archeological artifacts discovered here in Ethiopia, Ethiopian artwork, and displays of traditional Ethiopian weapons, jewelry, clothing, and musical instruments.

MOUNT ENTOTO Drive up to the prominent peak of Mount Entoto, which served as Menelik II capital before the founding of Addis Ababa, see one of the best views of Addis Ababa

Mercato Market

Merkato, it’s the largest shopping area in Addis and some say the largest market in Africa. Stalls, shops, kiosks, malls, and street vendors sell food, drink, spices, incense, clothing, jewelry, music, movies, appliances, handicrafts, chat, and more. Visit the recycling market where someone’s garbage is transformed into a new and different product ready for its new life. You will explore the famous Mercato with me i can lead you through the hustle and bustle of this unique marketplace, explaining what is for sale and what it is used for.

St. George's Cathedral

Visit Saint George's Cathedral  It was named after St. George, after the Tabot (Ark) of the church was carried to the Battle of Adwa against the Italians during which the Ethiopians secured victory.

Ethnological Museum

Located on the campus of Addis Ababa University and housed in Haile Selassie’s former palace, the Ethnological Museum is considered one of the finest museums in Africa. I will lead you through the museum explaining the various artifacts, daily objects, musical instruments, and visual art pieces relating to many of the diverse ethnic groups of Ethiopia.

Tiglachin Memorial

Sightseeing of famous statues, the loin of Judah, streets Winston Churchill, Legehare train station The Tiglachin Monument,'Our Struggle Monument' Tewodros Square carries the name of emperor Tewodros II. There is an ancient cannon in the middle of the square that stands there as a monument to this emperor, Lunch will be at Addis Ababa cultural restaurant in piazza If you're interested to stop at Tomoca coffee it's possible and visit

We had an amazing day exploring Addis with Beki! He was flexible and we were able to cater the tour to the group’s preferences. He expertly navigated us through Mercato which was a highlight along with the injera making experience with local family in entoto. Would love to see more of the country...

Beki is probably the best tour guide I've ever met. Knowledgeable, kind, and flexible, he was willing to change some of the stops of the tour to satisfy our needs. I feel I had the chance to submerge myself into Ethiopian history and culture thanks to him.
