Itinerary
Harare
Meet and greet at the hotel lobby for our tour. We begin the tour by going to the Africa Unity Square (formerly Cecil Square) where we give the clients a detailed orientation of the country and Harare the capital city of the country. This landmark as well as the surrounding features such as the oldest hotel in the city will give the travelers an insight into the 3 arms of the state namely judiciary, legislative and executive. Travelers will be given a brief but detailed history of the country and continent that is in 3 phases namely pre-colonial, colonial and post colonial Zimbabwe is one of the countries that have a very diverse culture as well as a great religious diversity so travelers will be given a good orientation of the different religions found in the country and they will be shown some of the places of worship in and around the city
Mbare Market (Pass-by Only)
From Harare CBD we will drive through some of the historic landmarks such as the parliament, judiciary, executive, central bank buildings and drive through the Kopje then we proceed to Mbare which is the hive of the city and the oldest township in Harare and one of the oldest in the country. This area will give a great insight into the daily living of the local people and will give a very interesting contrast to some of the areas that we will visit during the course of the tour. This place connects the city with the rest of the country and it is home to the biggest bus terminus in the country as well as home to the biggest local fresh produce market in the country
Balancing Rocks
We head to Chiremba/Epworth Balancing rocks where we travelers will see some of the amazing balancing rocks in the country. We will see some of the most stunning and outstanding features namely the money rock and flying boat formations as well as a view of some parts of the city from a view point
Admission Ticket Not IncludedAfter lunch we head in a northeastern direction to Domboshava Hill where we will get to see the bushman cave as well as the paintings and yet another stunning balancing rock. The place is also rich in culture and the guide will give an orientation of the area at the interpretative center. This place will also give travelers the opportunity to have a discussion with their guide and ask questions as we go up and down the hill
