Mostar is a city and municipality in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mostar is situated on the Neretva River and is the fifth-largest city in the country. Mostar was named after the bridge keepers (mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

I've wanted to visit Mostar for years so this private trip was perfect for me & my family. It's a long drive but it flew by with a few added stops to stretch our legs (waterfalls werebeautiful) & our driver Disco giving us information along the way. We had a great day & Disco was a gentleman. Boo...

Fantastic day. Edi our driver was a lovely gentleman, very punctual and knowledgeable about Mostar. We loved the experience. Mostar is a very vibrant and historic city and my only complaint was I didn't want to leave! The waterfalls are definitely worth a visit too...just beautiful. We had a love...
