First, take a nice walk in the city’s largest and most lush park- Yuexiu park to refresh yourself after long sitting flight, visit Five Ram Stone Statue (Symbol of Guangzhou), Ancient Ming-Dynasty city wall, Sun-Yat Sun Monument etc. See locals enjoy singing, dancing and other leisure activities in the park.
Chen Clan Ancestral Hall
Next head to Chen Clan Temple /Ancestral Hall, built by the wealthy Chen’s families in the Qing Dynasty, it showcases the most magnificent ancient architectures, with its exquisite wood, brick, stone, clay, ivory carvings and the unique and rare collections of silk embroidery, ceramics, painting etc. Get great overview of traditional Lingnan culture, custom.

Continue the tour to Zhujiang New Town, here marvel at some of the world-class architecture such as Canton Tower, Guangzhou Opera house, Guangzhou Library, Splendid Huacheng Square, Haixin Sha etc. while learn its grand development from the ancient “Goat city” from the past years. Then head to Shamian Island, a charming, quaint oasis in the city, once was the foreign concession from Qing Dynasty, enjoy a nice stroll along cobbled streets while appreciate the historic architectures that evoking the memories of 1930’s, learn the colonial history of Guangzhou from your guide and some great photoshoots here. Depends your flight schedule, if time permits, you may also choose to visit some other popular sites such as : 1)the 1400 years old temple: Temple of Six Banyan Trees; 2)Mausoleum of Nanyue King; 3) Dr. Sun-Yat Sen Memorial Hall; 4) souvenir shopping in local streets /markets such as Beijing Road, Shangxia Jiu pedestrian street; 5) Lychee Bay Scenic area etc. Feel free to discuss with your guide the preferences. After the enjoyable tour, your will be dropped off at Baiyun Airport for your next connecting flight.
