The street has also featured in numerous film & TV shows over the years, so you will learn all about these and although we don't go inside the actual club, photographs are shown to give you an idea of what it was like inside back in the 1960s.

Castle Street

Castle Street is synonymous with film. Three major motion pictures have all been filmed on the street. Guests will hear about the making of these movies and how they were represented on the silver screen as well as taking in some of the wonderful views of Liverpool Town Hall and also the Queen Victoria monument. Gary, your guide, will also inform guests on some of the local history of the area - Yes, there was actually a Castle on Castle Street, long ago!

As the tour approaches the famous River Mersey, Gary, your guide, will take you back in time to discuss the significance of the Strand - The 8 mile road that links together many of the Docks in Liverpool and how vital this road was in the advances of cinema.

Pier Head

On the banks of the wonderful River Mersey, you will be able to take in the spectacular views of the "Three Graces" of Liverpool. The Port of Liverpool, The Cunard and the Royal Liver Building - arguably the three most iconic buildings in the city. You will learn some of the history of each building and then which famous films they have featured in and which once in a lifetime cinematic events have they hosted. This is a perfect stop for fans of recent Hollywood blockbusters as well as musical lovers.

Dale Street

A stop mid-way down Dale Street, will reveal all of the secrets about a particular scouse cinematic staple and you will also discover why this road happens to be a personal favourite of Tom Hardy.

William Brown Street.

The penultimate stop of the tour is at the magnificent William Brown Street.
