Born and raised in Skopje, want to present my City in best of lights and in a entertaining manner. We meet at the Central Square, at the entrance of the Ristich Palace( see cover photo), just 20 meters from the Fountain.. From there, we visit the Memorial House of Mother Theresa-The Earthquake Museum-Parliament Building- City Center Monuments-Stone Bridge-The Fortress-The Old Bazaar. Before we start the Tour, we can discuss your preferred options and act upon them.

We meet in front of Ristich Palace. Introduction of Skopje

Memorial House of Mother Teresa

Brief description about the most famous Skopyan.

The Earthquake of 1963 and archeological facts about Skopje.

Park Woman Warrior

Right across the street from the Parliament Building. Will explain about the Skopje 2014 Project.

Kapan Han

One of the Inns of the Old Bazaar. Will tell you about the history of the Old Town.

Suli Han

Another Inn with a rich past and stories that go the Place.

Skopje Fortress Kale

Central point of Skopje Valley. Excellent view of Skopje and surrounding mountains. Will explain thoroughly the different aspects of the City.

  • Rendezvous point is at the entrance of the Ristich Palace, nextdoor to Bocata Cafe, just 20 meters from the Alexander the Great Fountain at the Central Square. To identify me, I'll be wearing a blue ID card issued by the Macedonian Tour Guides Association.

Aleksandar was excellent and gave a true insight in Scopje. He is a great character with a very clear voice and excellent English. Everyone seems to know him locally, which IMO speaks for itself. Thank you Aleksandar!

Alexandar knows the history of North Macedonia and Skopje very well. Ha has also been travelling all over the world, so he knows how to set things in perpective. Very informative and honest guided tour. Highly recommended.
