About Charlton's Banff

Welcoming guests to the Rocky Mountains for over 50 years, this Alpine style hotel boasts natural cedar construction throughout. A short walk to downtown Banff, the 65-room property has the feeling of personal care and pride that comes from building a family business for three generations. We offer high quality boutique style Banff accommodation with a variety of guestrooms, Loft Suites, Kitchenette Suites, and our newly constructed Deluxe Mountain View Rooms for that extra luxury. After a long day of exploring Banff National Park, guests can soak in the indoor pool and hot tub while enjoying free parking and Wi-Fi. With its warm and relaxed atmosphere, Charltons Banff is a perfect place for a mountain vacation. IMPORTANT UPDATE: We are undergoing renovations at Charlton's Banff effective immediately until approximately December 4th. We are adding three new rooms and as a result, the pool, hot tub and steam room will be temporarily closed due to the construction on the floor above. During this time, our guests are welcome to use these amenities at the Royal Canadian Lodge (459 Banff Ave / 1-2mins walk from Charlton's) Our breakfast room (Charlie's) that offers breakfast buffet will only be available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Good stay
Easy access from road, lots of parking, staff friendly with easy check in, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Rooms good size, clean good wifi and television, beds good. No breakfast but Keg and AW nearby, elevator access but after 11 pm need to use stairs. Good stay

Cute loft apartment and pool
We enjoyed a lovely 2 night stay in the loft apartment. The rooms are spacious for two people and the log fire was lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. Within easy walking distance to shops and the main downtown area. There is no restaurant on site but there are many to choose from nearby.

We stayed for 4 nights. We believe we were in 2 newly renovated rooms on the 3rd floor with a beautiful mountain view. The rooms were spotless with comfortable Queen beds, large TVs, large bathrooms - one had a walk in shower and a bathtub, the other a bathtub only with shower head. The onl...
