Incredible view!
We spent 3 days at the Intercontinental in Budapest prior to a Danube river cruise and it was spectacular. The location was right in the heart of Budapest’s history and the breakfast buffet is to die for. I highly recommend staying at the hotel that is right across the Danube from the Buda Castle.

The intercontinental hotel in Budapest is one of the best hotels I’ve seen. The hotel location is in the very middle of Budapest, close to everything! Great location and awesome river views from the riverside rooms. Nice dining, drinks, and breakfast buffet areas. Rooms European sized but functional and stocked. Bath small and somewhat dated. Concierge service wonderful. Friendly staff. Exceptional value. Worth 4.6 rating.
