About The Inn On The Mile

The Inn on The Mile located on The Royal Mile in the heart of the city centre, offers an alternative boutique and luxury hotel experience in one of Edinburgh's most prestigious historic landmarks. Built in 1923 as the British Linen Bank, we have preserved, conserved and renovated our historical building into a place where you feel at home. Fully refurbished in 2013. A full Scottish and continental-style breakfast is served within The Inn on The Mile pub on the Royal Mile. Rooms at the hotel are situated across three floors and accessed by stairs only. If you require a lower floor please contact us directly in advance of your stay on 0131 556 9940.

Great live music!!
Right along the Royal mile you will step into this charming and cozy little getaway. GREAT live music in a comfy setting. A must visit while in town. Extensive drink, scotch, and cocktail list. Very Friendly staff. Crowd is mixed ages. Indoor and outdoor seating offered.

Fabulous!!
Great boutique hotel. The location was perfect and the walk from the tram (from airport) was not bad. Be ready for stairs since there in no lift but the room was comfy and modern. Great tea service in the room. Bathroom was huge for European standards.
